What gave you the right to interfere in Matt Pacini's ebay auction?

    Wink

Alex why don't you just explain what your motives were concerning Matt's auction and why you interfered?

<font size="2" face="verdana, sans-serif">Yes it is pathetic, but not surprising in the least.

Truth is, Alex is delusional, and thinks he's just the most clever guy around, and actually thought he would get away with it.

What he didn't know, is that the bidder who pulled their bid (the highest bidder, by the way) listed their reason as "seller changed description" which of course, is not true.

So I contacted that person (something Alex never imagined might happen), and told them if they wanted to back out, then fine, but don't make me look shifty by saying something that wasn't true, because I DIDN'T change the description.
She then emailed me back, about being contacted by Alex, and him pointing a link to his post, calling me a scammer trying to sell a defective camera, saying it was ME who was shifty, etc.

So once again Alex, you're not as smart as you think you are, and again, things don't turn out like you fantasize in your head they're going to.
This is what feeds your paranoid tendencies.
You simply REFUSE to realize that you're NOT smart, and you REFUSE to acknowledge that you're at fault.

    C'mon Alex.

All you have to say is, "I interfered with your eBay auction, what I did was wrong, and I'm very sorry."

    Why can't you do that?

I tried four options before sending an email of just the link only.

I could not post on Brantleys forum, so I could not just respond to the topic post in question.

I could not post on Shooting 8mm forum, in response to the original topic about Matts camera.

I WOULD NOT email Matt because he blatantly and hysterically lied about a previous email I sent to him when I used to post on Brantley's forum.

I put a topic post on this forum FIVE days before I contacted the one ebay bidder.

None of the above got back to Matt. When you unfairly ban someone and remove their ability to communicate with others, or LIE about previous email communications, don't act like a witchunter or like Kenneth Star, as if you are above reproach, Roger.

In the end, Matt STILL retained control over the situation, all he had to do was simply reply to the topic post on Brantley's forum that HE STARTED!

But keep going with your cute little one liner, because you really do make a cute witchhunter.

<font size="2" face="verdana, sans-serif">No, that's a bunch of crapp and you know it. Matt was under ZERO obligation to respond. Are you a lawyer? Do you represent the interests of e-bay or its bidders? Did someone put a gun to your head and force you to contact the high bidder?

<font size="2" face="verdana, sans-serif">Alex are aware of how incredibly stupid this line of reasoning makes you look?

Matt isn't REQUIRED to update his posts on Hostboard as a prerequisite to running an item on ebay and YOU had NO obligation to do ANYTHING when you saw Matt was listing an item.

You HAD A CHOICE and you CHOSE to get involved and interfere. You did it to get revenge for being banned from two different forums (for this type of behaviour, ironically).

Get a clue and quit dodging the issue.

What gave you the right to interfere in Matt Pacini's ebay auction?

    Answer the question.

Dude, you really have a one way brain. Matt had a choice to update or not update his post. He chose.

Maybe next time he'll choose to update his question as that is what makes a forum helpful to those who read the post later. If Matt had, there would be no issue right now.

Matt chose not to update his post, that is the key. As I illustrated on the Hey Nigel topic post, I clearly communicated with Nigel when I had questions or suggestions about his ebay sale.

When I had an opportunity to communicate, I always take that route. In Matt's case, I did not have that option.

Take credit for helping to decimate Brantley's forum, go ahead, take a bow.
